The health of the Shabak representative in Nineveh stable

The health condition of the Nineveh council’s Shabak member is stable, general director of the Nineveh health department said on Monday.“The Shabaks’ representative at the Nineveh local council, Qussay Abbas is in a stable health condition,” Dr. Salah el-Din Zenoun said.“Abbas is currently at the al-Salam hospital in eastern Mosul after a simple surgery inside the hospital,” he added. The member was shot in Khazna town in eastern Mosul on Sunday (March 07). Governor Atheel a-Nujaifi accused Kurdish militia known as Peshmerga of targeting Abbas, while an official of the Kurdish "Democratic" Party denied these accusations.
Mosul, the capital of Nineveh, is 405 km north of Baghdad.
