U.S. soldier dies in non-combat incident

One U.S. serviceman has died in a non-combat incident, the first U.S. casualty to be reported this month.“A United States Division – North Soldier died of injuries sustained in a vehicle roll-over while conducting a patrol in northern Iraq, March 15,” read a U.S. army statement.“Three other Soldiers were injured and evacuated to a military medical facility where they are currently being treated,” the statement indicated.“The incident is under investigation,” it added.
The death of this soldier brings the number of American soldiers killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003 to 4354.
