A Christian man killed in Baghdad and his daughter critically wounded

A source in the Iraqi police said that unidentified gunmen stormed on Sunday morning the house of a Christian man killing him and seriously injuring his daughter in al-Mashtal eastern Baghdad then stole jewelry which was in the house. The source who did not wish to be identified added: "Security forces cordoned off the area, transported the body to Forensic Medicine, the injured girl to a hospital for treatment, opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident and who stands behind it". The names of the two victims were not yet released.
May the victim rest in peace, may his family be consoled and speedy recovery for the injured.
