August 07: Martyrs Alive and Living Martyrs
As in every year, we remember our martyrs who lost their lives in order not to give up their identity and existence becoming in the process the candle which was burned to illuminate our path and by their blood we live, otherwise we would not have been here today. Thus, on this and every day it is our duty towards the souls of those who sacrificed their lives for us to do all that we can until justice is served so that the souls of the innocent Assyrians may rest in peace because they were the victims of the greed of great powers and their accessories.
Today and every day the souls of the innocent will continue to call upon the remainder of live consciences in this world and it is our duty to move those consciences by any means possible for the Assyrian Cause because the Assyrians also have the right to live with dignity and freedom, not as refugees or strangers on their own land, that land which is today known as Iraq, and that is the most basic of rights.
O martyrs of the Assyrian Nation and Cause, today and forever we bow solemnly before your sacrifice because it is the testimony to our existence and your memory is forever eternal.
