U.S. soldier killed in Basra

A U.S. soldier was killed in the southern Iraqi province of Basra on Sunday, read a statement issued by the U.S. forces in Iraq without adding further information.
The death has brought to 4374 the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003.
