Distribution of oil revenues to people supported by 123 signatures

Al-Ahrar Bloc announced collecting 123 signatures from different political blocs to add in the general budget, eliminating parts of the oil revenues and distributing to some segments of the Iraqi society, threatening not to vote for the budget if this paragraph is not included. Head of the Bloc Baha al-Aaraji reminded that Sadrist leader Muqtada al-Sadr demanded three conditions, namely, cutting off some of the revenues to be distributed to the Iraqi people, creating not less than 50,000 work opportunities and distributed fuel free of charge to generators' owners till electricity networks are fixed. He added that two of these conditions were met by the parliament, the fuel supply and work opportunities. Al-Aaraji said that his bloc was able to acquire 123 parliamentary signatures to add an article in the general budget to cut off part of oil revenues to be distributed to some social segments, which will not exceed $02 billion dollars.
